Telstra have now finally settled. After weeks of wasting time with one of their resolution staff, I kicked up a stink and had her removed from the equation. 45 minutes after getting a new case officer, everything is resolved to my satisfaction.

No emorine.

Lacie have made no effort to resolve the AFP issues. And they have now taken the stance that because the AFP issue is "known" anybody buying their devices, then complaining about the problem get's told "tough"

The best advice I can give.. stay well away from Lacie.

After a similarly bad experience with afp connexion using a Iomega StorCenter pro 150d2, I was about to buy a LaCie2 big drive for my lab.
Hopefully, I read this message before !
Well we are now in 2011 and the message was posted in 2009. I am thus wondering whether this afp connexion issue has been solved since then?
Thanks for your answers,

As a side note - the IMEI unlock generator on the MyVodafone site now doesn't list any of the IMEI's for the handsets in question.
I guess it's all about that great customer service :-D

The e-petition above has been closed for some time now, an interesting one currently open is http://www.parliament.qld.gov.au/view/EPetitions_QLD/CurrentEPetition.aspx?PetNum=1360&lIndex=-1
This is a petition calling for the immediate resignation of the Queensland government and new elections.
