We leave for Sao Paulo at 0430 in the morning 
so it is time to have one last coffee (cafe con leche) here in Santiago.
Touring here has been quite tame, no cast on hospital with food poisioning, not even any minor issues.
The main thing I have taken away from here I guess is that in Santiago as a foreigner be prepared to be the focus of attention. It seems that we attract a great deal of interest, from everybody and I can’t quite workout why.
The other key thing if you want to come here is a knowledge of Spanish. It is nearly impossible to find any body with (or prepared to admit to) a basic understanding if English.
