Well, it has started, the End/New Year power issues for Hamilton are going again.

Last night we lost our power for about 3 and a half hours. Which I suppose is relativly short compared to the other outages we have had to endure.

I wish power supply was like any other service industry. Lack of supply = rebate to customer.

Anyway – *touch wood* this will be the only outage this summer.

Ok, Now this is just strange. This morning – I ordered my cab online (as I noramlly do here and waited for it to turn up.

I started packing up my laptop etc and then heard a beep. I was almost at the door when I noticed the driver was standing by her cab. I thought she was awfully eager considering it had only been mere seconds since I heard her arrive.

As I opened the door she said good morning, then asked to use the toilet. I have never had a driver ask me that before – it was just weird. Anyway, we let her (after putting the dogs away). So I hope she wasn’t casing the joint.

I know this is a pointless entry – but – I was just amazed… I have never been asked by a driver before to use the facilities, and I have caught a lot of taxi’s.

Ok well, I am sitting here outside the Coffee Cellar (see entry at WhichCafe.Com) and writing this because I have paid for the rediculously expensive internet here.

I had a pretty good weekend, Saturday Kenny and I got my xmas shopping done, Sunday Brett and his parents did an amazing job with the garden (and Brett destroyed my little fibre light thingo’s) and I got through some of my unpacking and cleaning inside the house.

I went to visit Kenny who had cut his foot open – he is an idiot, and you can’t argue with that. Hopefully he will learn that you can’t kick fish tanks and win. I will put a pic up of his foot in a bit but my camera is upstairs.

I will also put some entries in about people at the shop’s on saturday too if I get the urge, there are a couple of people who deserve special mentions.

I have tried calling HotKey again, as after speaking to Daniel the other day I was assured that somebody would call me back, and *suprise* nothing.

I have spoken to Stewart who has asked me to perform several additional speed tests beyond the ones I have already performed and then email him back directly.

These guys have got to be the worst providers on the Australian market at the moment. I know that is a big call, but I am choosing to ignore all the smaller crap ones. For a “BIG” ISP (as they claim) I have logged no less then 11 support calls with them ~EVERY ONE~ they have said somebody will call me back. NOT ONE has somebody called me back (yet).

My internet is currently running at one quarter speed, and I am paying $330 a month for a business plan. They are moving so slow on getting this fixed.

I think I am going to have to raise another TIO complaint about HotKey.

Ok, more shit meat from that butcher. This time it wasn’t off – but was definantly shit – I am sitting here watching shit foxtel crap, hungry – becuase all I could eat was potato gem’s

I had to vent, I am really annoyed with a particular producer who has failed to pay my staff.

I am not sure if he understands what “Trading Insolvent” means – but I think he has been doing it – and should payment not be forthcoming very shortly – I will be suggesting to ASIC and ATO that they pay him a visit.
